That slow burning desire that simmers under the surface, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to boil up and over. Farah Highland was raised with more money than most people could ever dream of, but with that wealth and privilege came cold indifference and cruelty. As riveting as it is original, Bad Alibi is the kind of podcast that reinvents the format, daring to tell stories in its own unique way. She’s been through more than most could ever imagine but has come out of it with a truly golden soul and the determination to live her life on her own terms and I loved watching as she evolved into the woman she always wanted to be. From the creators of The Good Wife, this new psychological drama focuses on the battle between science and religion.

For me there was a real ick factor here, he uses a pet name for her and seems to be expressing interest and he's just had sex with another woman and doesn't ever seem to see that's not okay esp as he claims later shes different to the other women and special. It was also reminiscent of earlier JP books with the same tired, overused tropes, themes, and devices. Helpful hint: an on page suggestion of a main character having a sexual history is perfectly adequate. it's a mixture of belonging and wanting that is so strong it seriously takes over and I devour the story.Kind of like Hope Valley series, featuring a small town (Redemption), adorable, funny and loyal citizens, lots of love and chemistry and a dash of suspense. There are some cute scenes with Sage and Xander from Out Of The Darkness, and Sage really kicks Cannon's butt into gear when it comes to making things up to Farrah. I always want at least a little bit of angst with my romances, for whatever reason I like to have those moments where I feel my heart drop a little and Jessica definitely delivered.

She is also told he has at times had one woman who he is faithful too, he's no cheat but it's not lasted long.Farah was such a wonderful character, strong in her own way, sweet, caring, thoughtful, gentle and kind-hearted. A sceptical female clinical psychologist, Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), teams up with priest-in-training David Acosta (Mike Colter) and blue-collar contractor Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) to investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences. I absolutely adored Farah, and although Cannon's actions sometimes irritated me (he's such a man), he earned my respect as he earned Farah's.

She's been struggling working in a bar to take care of her son and at her ex's apperance the first thing she thinks is he looks good? I was genuinely worried about this new series because I don't read motorcycle club books for a very specific reason (that I will keep to myself), and I wasn't sure how much the motorcycle town aspect of this one would bother me. He sees Farah and wants her but she is skittish, he decides to bide his time but then he learns who she really is and decides she is not worth it.

There is some crossover from the Hope Valley series/characters but this is a new series and a standalone. Like the Hope Valley series, this series is set in a small town that just happens to be filled with people who like to ride, but they are wonderful, supportive people. And she retells the event once to a girlfriend, it included violence with a knife, life threatening injuries, small details, very brief. I would have liked this way more if it wasn't for some of the hero's actions, one action in particular led to a long ewww from me - after meeting the heroine and feeling a sharp and deep spark of attraction, the heroine hears the sounds of him having sex with another woman. There are only detailed intimate scenes with the Hero and heroine though she sees a couple of occasions while she is working at the local bar, him leave with other women and while at the bar there are different occasions where women are crawling all over him.
